I've noticed that many folks are choosing a word for the year.
A word that will embody their thoughts, feelings, actions for the year...
I think that is a great idea...
I've never been one for New Year's Resolutions... can't seem to remember them after a week or two.
So this word thing sounds very do-able to me.
But what word????
That's hard...
Just one????
One word...
For the entire year????
Golly....
Hmmm....
I've really been thinking about it...
Nope....
Can't do it.
I love the idea....
But I can't choose JUST one.
I think I will put my own spin on the idea.
There are so many great words...
Positive... thought-provoking words....
Words that touch and inspire.
So I am going to highlight different words at different times throughout the year.
Words that inspire me...
Touch me...
And perhaps that will spark a thought... make you remember something... or think differently about something... make you giggle... or touch your heart.... or.... who knows...
So... I have been looking at my list of words...
Which is, in fact, quite lengthy... and have chosen this word to begin with...
Abundance.../əˈbʌn
dəns/ –noun
| 1. | overflowing fullness: abundance of the heart. |
"Overflowing fullness"... yes... that's a good one. I am so fortunate to have such abundance in my life... family... friends... health... home... consistency... encouragement... love... fun... laughter... I could go on and on. It is important that we stop once in awhile and take note of the abundance in our lives. It is easy sometimes to get bogged down with the chaos and challenges that sometimes grab hold of our lives. So I will stop... and think... of all the "overflowing fullness" that is in my life.... and embrace it... enjoy it... recognize it. Yes.... ABUNDANCE... Think about it... |

Wow. So happy to see you posting again! I seriously missed you.
I love the word abundance. My dad always says "come from a place of abundance" or "live in abundance". I like it. I want to live in that place and I think it is a great word to describe your year and the year to come.
I heard a rumor and I just want you to know that it made me smile. Hope you're living in abundance with all the good things happening in your life.
